How might we informalise and emotionalise the issue of misrepresented technologies through experimental videography? The third episode highlights the absurdity of my research even more so than the first because this story is based on the real $258 Billion Doge coin lawsuit.
The use of chips is a reference to gambling as when one buys into these speculative technologies, they must keep fighting even when all is lost, which is also what I am doing with my videos.
The beginning of semester one was when I began creating my documentation website as one of my assessment tasks. This has allowed me to contemplate on the processes of my work more thoughtfully.
From here I began to document and reflect with some scattered weekly thoughts throughout.

narrative approach amateur & professional production style?
think about how the choice of platform to meet your PDS
As a communication designer I am not familiar with using a Product Design Specification (PDS).
I have little understanding of the specifics of my research outcome, so it is important to reflect and set guidelines to better reach solutions.
“Designers must be able to articulate their questions and conclusions.”
- Anne Burdick 2003
The creation of this map reaffirmed my reflection on this design practice where the outcome could ask more questions and even restart the cycle of the design double diamond again.
At this point I became influenced by new literature, 'The Society of the Spectacle' by Guy Debord in 1967.
"The spectacle is capital accumulated to the point where it becomes image."
Despite the complete ineptitude of certain things, their spectacle is powerful enough for spectators to overlook their contradictions.
Considerations that are consistent throughout are the $0 budget and the unrestrictive target audience and systems.
When making an experimental documentary there are always trades-offs. However, a combined series will balance out every major strength and weakness.
I was starting to regret targeting NFTs and crypto as it was such a gruelling research topic but going back to my creative instincts as a designer allowed me to stretch the means of design
I could possibly have an outcome leaving with more questions and resetting the double diamond for more research.
