Be Clean, Be Green! Promoting the Sustainable Development of Our Community
8th -12th of May 2023
Between 8th – 12th of May 2023, The Economic Technological High School Of Tourism organized a Learning, Teaching, Training Activity for the Erasmus + project “Be Clean, Be Green! Promoting the Sustainable Development of Our Community”.
The fourth Learning, Teaching, Training activity, with the main theme “Protected Areas”, was organised by the Romanian school, Liceul Tehnologic Economic de Turism, Iași between the 8th and the 12th of May 2023.
At this meeting there were 15 pupils accompanied by 6 teachers (from Portugal, Belgium and Italy).
The aims of the short-term exchange of groups of pupils were:
- to develop the pupils’ competences regarding ecological education;
- to overcome the language barriers by improving the participants’ English language competence;
- to develop the pupils’ ICT skills;
- to increase the participants’ knowledge of environmental protection;
- to stimulate the pupils’ critical thinking and teamwork.
The pupils developed different skills such as:
- applying, analysing and processing information
- improving interpersonal skills by having the opportunity to work in a team
- developing practical competences by doing experiments in some protected areas (identifying plant species, birds species and rocs)
- developing environmental consciousness
- promoting creativity and innovation in an international context
