We are a permanent site with over 100 plots. Our site has three entrances, one on Arrol Road and two on Beck Lane.
We have a vehicle entrance from Beck lane which provides a drop off and unloading space for cars at the top of the drive. Please do not bring any vans or lorries onto the site. Please don't obstruct the turning point at the top of the drive. There is a large grassed area where you can park if there is space. There is also a bench here to sit and enjoy the view from.
There are water points around the site, please turn off the taps and don't clean tools or veg in the tanks.
We have a lively Trading Shed and tool store, please see the calendar for opening times. The Trading Shed stocks a good range of essential compost, fertiliser and pest-control products. When seasonal we also stock seed potatoes, onions, shallots and garlic in popular varieties. Once or twice each year we arrange delivery manure to site at a very reasonable price. We also operate a discount seed scheme with one of the leading national seed companies. We also have wheelbarrows mowers, strimmers and rotavators for use by all members. Please remember all mowers, strimmers, rotavators etc must be back in the tool store by 3pm. Please ask a member of the committee before using one of the shared items, there may be a queue.
