AI-assisted engineering, automation, and problem-solving: transforming complex manual processes into safe, scalable workflows.
I'm a Senior Product Specialist and configuration lead with a passion for solving complex problems, exploring new technologies, and building tools that make life easier.
Over the years, my role has evolved far beyond traditional configuration work. I've developed automation tools, built scripts and internal resources, supported platform migrations, explored AI-assisted workflows, and worked across the boundaries of configuration, product and engineering to solve problems that don't always fit neatly into one discipline.
I enjoy learning by experimenting, whether that's exploring new technologies, investigating complex requirements, or finding creative ways to work around system limitations. Alongside my professional experience, I'm currently studying for a BSc in Computing and Information Technology to further develop my technical knowledge, strengthen my systems thinking, and broaden my understanding of the field.
This site documents some of the projects, ideas and experiments I've worked on, particularly around automation, AI and technical problem-solving.
When I'm not building things, you'll usually find me studying, performing, dancing, making music, or diving into another entirely unrelated hobby simply because it looked interesting. If you'd like to see more of that side of me, take a look at the linked BecCreative site.
Over the past several months, I have designed and built an AI-assisted automation platform for operational configuration, migration, validation, and deployment activities. The platform replaces slow, repetitive manual processes with controlled automation while maintaining auditability, traceability, and safety controls throughout every workflow.
This work combines AI-assisted development, automation engineering, data transformation, validation tooling, and operational governance to create repeatable processes that scale beyond individual projects.
The platform currently includes:
35+ automation tools and utilities
Multiple Claude Code skills and AI-assisted workflows
Configuration migration and cloning capabilities
Automated validation and QA tooling
Data extraction and transformation utilities
Change-management automation
Audit and compliance support tooling
All work is maintained through structured version control and continuous iteration, with more than 200 version-controlled commits delivered to date.
Complex configuration structures that previously required extensive manual setup can now be replicated through automated workflows in a matter of seconds while maintaining consistency across related datasets.
Large machine-readable configuration outputs can be generated automatically from live data sources, significantly reducing manual transcription effort while handling dependency mapping, deduplication, naming conventions, and business-rule validation.
Multi-step configuration changes that traditionally required manual script writing and validation can now be generated through guided workflows, reducing preparation time from hours to minutes.
Large-scale relational configuration activities involving thousands of linked records can be executed and validated automatically, reducing both delivery time and operational risk.
Automation is only valuable when it is safe. Every production-facing workflow is designed around:
✅ Automated validation
✅ Transactional execution
✅ Audit logging
✅ Rollback protection
✅ Row-count safety controls
✅ Version control and traceability
✅ Human review points
The objective is not simply to automate work, but to automate it in a controlled, repeatable, and auditable way.
The platform establishes a scalable foundation for:
accelerating migration and transformation programmes
reducing operational bottlenecks
improving data integrity
increasing delivery capacity
enabling repeatable high-volume configuration activities
By converting traditionally manual processes into governed automation workflows, operational effort can be redirected toward analysis, design, and delivery rather than repetitive execution.
