Maanami A. Bolton is a highly sought after, dynamic encourager, speaker and teacher. She holds a Bachelors in Human Development from Cornell University, a Masters in Psychology from Pace University, a Masters in Educational Psychology from Texas Tech University and is dissertation shy of a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Psychology. Because she is a strong proponent of education and mental health, she has worked as an advocate for education and wellness as a School Psychologist Intern and as Adjunct Faculty in the Social and Behavioral Sciences at Odessa College.

Of all her accomplishments, Maanami is most grateful for her salvation through Jesus Christ, which she publicly accepted at the tender age of ten. From an early age, she has been passionate about worship, prayer and sharing the love of God. She is privileged to continue doing all three at the St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Odessa, TX, where her handsome husband, Dr. James J. Bolton serves as Pastor.

Maanami's favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 and her favorite Bible chapter is Isaiah 61. The Holy Spirit has graced Maanami to establish ministries teaching children, youth and adults of all ages to “pray without ceasing,” and most importantly, to cultivate an intimate relationship with our Great God! Finally, Maanami Bolton is the owner of “Beauty for Ashes,” where she encourages others to heal from trauma, teaches them to pray and coaches them to find their God-given identity in Christ.
