"The first shower after a natural delivery would look like a murder scene!" - Kristin Maldonado
BeatHemorrhage is a youth-led organization that provides a platform for people to talk about postpartum hemorrhage in order to raise awareness about the issue. We believe that more global engagement about the issue will inspire people to help us change the world in eliminating postpartum hemorrhage.
Through effort and dedication, BeatHemorrhage strives to educate pregnant and postpartum women about postpartum hemorrhage through social media and hospitals/health clinics. By providing resources to health professionals, we aim to help them plan a safer postpartum experience for their patients who have given birth. Currently, we are working in the Syracuse area.
BeatHemorrhage takes the stories you tell and shares them with the world through our social media. Sharing your story is a big step towards helping PPH survivors gain a voice.
