There are so many quotes I can add here that sound nostalgic to how much music means to us in life. We simply can't get around it, it's everywhere we go. All alone I love some solid rock and metal, but any tune will do to get me through the day and usually just go with whatever playlist is recomended when opening my streaming app. But with music everywhere, the most amazing thing is to actually see artists perform live, the energy and interaction is amazing!
Below some of the artists I had a pleasure to see live and work with.
For 25 years the most extravagant metal festival of Europe has been on in the city of Trutnov (Czech Republic). Young and old metal fans join into the park for 5 days of grunts, gitar riffs and an amazing overall atmosphere.
The founding fathers of punk, the anarchists, the never ending tour. On stage since the 1980s and no intention to stop until they cannot go on any more. The energy and power coming from these men cannot be equaled.
With her first album released over 30 years ago, Kasia is a legend in the Polish music scene. Her first album was so well received it hit the top of the charts and went Gold in no time. After a two year break to raise her daugher in the year 2000 she came back with another gold record "5".
Polish Ska/Punk band from the second half of the 1980s. Back then young, wild and full of energy. Today, a bit older, a bit wiser, but still as wild and as full of energy with each and every show they give. The core of the band can be found in singer and bass player "Smalec" together with "Lisu" on guitar, both there since practically the start.
Under direction of conductor Beata Śnieg the Chór Music Everywhere has been touring for the past 2 years with their show Karuzela Gna. A full two hours of the most energetic choir, including band, you will ever see and hear performing specially adapted covers of Polish music legends such as Maryla Rodowicz, Kayah and Bajm. The concert in Rybnik featured special solist guests Natalia Piotrowska-Paciorek and Kamil Bijoś.
A local band from Silesia Poland which brings a massive amount of energy to the stage. The band was brought together by producer and Bass player Damian (DaMo). Their frontman, Kamil can go on forever once on stage as if powered by nuclear energy! The band is completed by Paweł on guitar, shredding on each song with passion and the youngest of the band, Radek on drums.
A band active since 2018 with four members each coming from a different back ground. Put together they are able to deliver some proper melodic post emo punk rock.
Silesian born singer and actor Mateusz Dopieralski who goes under the pseudonym of Vito Bambino comes on stage with a variety of genres all mixed in with that indie sound. Having several Polish hits on his name he was one of the 2023 festival headliners in Poland.
