Beafon does not collect any usage data during operation!

3. Access to functions and sensors of your mobile device sensors

a) Purpose of data processing and legal basis

We access the following via the interfaces of your device functions or device :

Access to camera

Only with your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 a) GDPR We get access to the camera via the “Permit Authorization” dialog.

This access is necessary to be able to create photo contacts.

Access to contacts

We only get access to the contacts of your device with your express consent "Allow authorization".

Telephone calls

We are only given access to telephone calls with your express “permit authorization” consent.

Our app needs the function to be able to make calls in an emergency as part of the SOS function.

Sending SMS

We only get access to the SMS function with your express consent "Allow authorization".

Our app needs the function to be able to send SMS in an emergency as part of the SOS function.

Internet

Our app requires Internet access to register and to be able to create emergency addresses.

Location determination

The Beafon Launcher app "be-easy", SOS app and the Beafon Messenger / securezone require the position data in order to be able to use these functions to their full extent.

• be-easy: needs the location determination to be able to display the location of weather

• SOS App emergency to determine the position of the person calling for help and to pass it on to the SOS contact

• Messenger or security zone app needs the location determination to know where the phone is in or outside of security zone.

WiFi connection

information Our app uses the WiFi connection of your mobile device to establish a connection to the Internet and thus enable you to use the app in full (Section 15, Paragraph 1 of the German Telemedia Act).

Access to microphone and loudspeaker

In order to be able to use the Beafon app to the full extent, access to microphone and loudspeaker is essential.

5. Your rights as a data subject and contact options for the data protection officer

According to Art. 15 Para. 1 GDPR, you have the right, upon request, to receive information about the personal data stored about you free of charge. In addition, if the legal requirements are met, you have the right to correction (Art. 16 GDPR), deletion (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) of your personal data.

If the data processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 e) or f) GDPR, you have a right of objection according to Art. 21 GDPR. If you object to data processing, this will not take place in the future, unless the person responsible can prove compelling reasons worthy of protection for further processing that outweigh the interest of the person concerned in the objection.

If you have provided the processed data yourself, you have the right to data transfer in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR.

If the data processing is based on consent in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 a) or Art. 9 Paragraph 2 a) GDPR, you can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future without affecting the legality of the previous processing.
