Each hyperdoc contains places for teachers to add links, or has suggested activities using certain tech tools. In this section you will learn about the different apps and tools - what they are and how to use them. All these tech tools are free. Teachers have the option to use these tools, or not.
Quizlet is a great vocabulary building tool. Create wordlists for students to learn, and/or encourage students to create their own word lists. Word lists can be public - meaning that anyone can access them. There are a variety of games students can play to help them remember the words. Can be used on a tablet/smartphone or desktop.

Padlet is an online sticky note wall! You can ask your students a question and they can post a note to the wall. Great for feedback and reflection. Students can remain anonymous, or they can add audio or video. NB: Padlet now only allows for 6 free walls before introducing a paywall - simply re-use your walls to avoid this. Send out your wall to students with either a web address or a QR code. Can be used on a tablet/smartphone or desktop.

Adobe Spark is a wonderfully user friendly tool for creating graphics (posters), web pages and videos. Watch these three tutorials to learn how to use it, and click on the image to take to you the site. Adobe Spark can be used with an iPad or smartphone as well. Sign up by simply linking it to your Google account. Can be used on a tablet/smartphone or desktop.

Different from Google Maps, Google My Maps is a tool in the suite of education tools by Google. To access Google My Maps, simply go to your Google Drive, click "New", then "More". Google My Maps allows students to create custom maps adding points, images and text. Multiple users can work on the same map allowing for greater collaboration.

Google Drawings is a user friendly tool for creating great worksheets, posters and more.
To access Google Drawings, simply go to your Google Drive, click "New" then "More". You can add images from the web, shapes and text boxes.
