We’re always thinking about our clients and figuring out the best way to ensure satisfaction for all our clients. That’s why we need to have a clear policy, to ensure that our business runs smoothly and you, along with everyone else, get the treatments you pay for and deserve.

Our treatments include a consultation and aftercare advice, therefore we recommend you arrive ten minutes prior to your first appointment to allow yourself time to complete the compulsory health questionnaire.

No  extra guest or children 

Due to safety precausions and limited space, children, babies and extra guests are not permitted in the salon unless they are receiving our services ( under 16 must be accompanied by an adult)

The salon safety has always been our main priority and we also strive to create a peaceful atmosphere for all of our guests who come in to relax with our holistics treatments in our small space. 


Cancellation Policy

The treatments you have booked are especially tailored to you. A more than 48 hour cancellation notice is kindly required.

Less than 48 hours notice a  50 % fee of the total treatment cost will be charged and less than 24hours notice 100% fee will be charged.

 Clients can notify us via telephone only on 01633 880946.

 For group bookings, pamper parties or treatment over three hours long a non-refundable deposit is required. 

Skin Tests  

Some treatments such as hair tint, eyelash, brow tint, microblading, lash lift and eyelash extensions will require a skin sensitivity patch test 24 to 48 hours prior your treatments. You will be advised at the time of booking if this is necessary.


Please note under for 16's no hair dye should be used!

Hair dyes contain chemicals that in rare cases can cause severe, even life-threatening, allergic reactions.

Hair dye manufacturers say they are not intended for anyone under the age of 16.




Guarantee

We are very proud of our high standards and guarantee all of our work. We really appreciate all feedback. If you are dissatisfied with any of the treatments you have received please notify us immediately. We will book you in at the next available opportunity.  

If we are unable to rectify the issue, we will offer a be-glitz voucher to match the monetary value of the treatment. We appreciate comments and feedback whether positive or negative and are always striving to improve our services.  

Medical Conditions

Please inform your therapist or stylist of any new medical conditions, allergies  and pregnancy prior to booking as some treatments may not be appropriate for you. We take your personal satisfaction and safety very seriously.

 

Personal Items

Please ensure you retrieve all your personal items before leaving the premises as we cannot be held responsible for lost items.

Surveillance

For your safety, and ours, our premises are monitored with digital video surveillance (cctv) and audio recording.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers offer no monetary value; vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase. 

There is no limit to how many gift vouchers can be used in one transaction.

 Prices And Payment

We accept Visa/Maestro credit/debit cards and cash; we reserve the right to alter  prices without prior notice.

 

 Important Changes to Skin Allergy Tests


Following the closure of hair salons due to the coronavirus pandemic, our Governing bodies have given us some guidance with regards to skin allergy tests for hair colour clients. We will of course have records of your last visits if you are unsure, but please check through the below criteria for skin tests and get in touch with us to arrange a quick visit to your local Bliss salon to have your test carried out. 

Pre-Lockdown AAT/Skin Test Advice

1. Regular clients with the same colour formula on each salon visit

These clients would only need annual skin tests to ensure continued compatibility with our hair colour products. 

2. Regular clients who want to change colour, brand or shade

A new skin test would need to be carried out 48 prior to the colour change appointment and recorded. Annual skin testing would apply if not changed after this appointment.

3. New colour client to salon or regular client who is new to hair colour

A skin test would be carried out following a consultation but at least 48 hours prior to first colour appointment. If there are no colour formula changes following this then annual skin test will be required.

Post COVID-19 AAT/Skin Test Advice

1. Regular colour clients who have not coloured at home during lockdown and had be-Glitz salon colour in the last 6 months

Can be booked in for a colour appointment with no need for a skin test. 

2. Regular colour client who has used box dye at home during lockdown

Booked in for a colour consultation, skin and compatibility tests required alongside haircut. We will provide hair care advice and support to prepare hair before colouring. Please be honest with us if you have used a box dye at home, we will not judge but it will affect how we perform your hair colour service. 

3. Regular colour client who wants to change their colour result since their last visit before lockdown

Skin test, condition and any compatibility tests will need to be carried.

4. Clients who have tested positive for Covid-19 since their last visit or who have had a change in their medical history

Skin test must be carried out at least 48 hours prior to hair colour appointment.
