ZOOM Expectations
Be Responsible
Find a quiet place to do your work
Beds are not good places to Zoom - tables and desks are great - if they are not available you may need a clipboard
Use the bathroom, get water, etc right before your zoom session so you are ready to learn
Have all your materials ready to join the Zoom and participate (pencils and paper and any other materials that your teacher has requested you have)
Make sure that your iPad is charged and ready to go
Keep TVs, music, video games and cell phones turned off while on Zoom
Wear appropriate clothing while on Zoom
Do not use backgrounds, these are very distracting.
Teachers need to see you the whole time during Zoom
Be Respectful
Don't say negative things to your peers in virtual class
Stay focused and engaged during your Zoom class
Follow directions and complete work
Be respectful to the adults/older siblings who may be helping at home.
Follow the expectations set up by your teacher about how and when to ask and answer questions
Proper use of mute button and only use unmute when given permission
Stay muted during teacher instruction
Use chat box appropriately
Be mindful of what is behind you when you are on Zoom
Be Safe
Only go to websites/links that your teacher has provided
Don't communicate with people that you don't know on the internet
Don't give out your personal information (name, address, phone number) to people on the internet
Keep food and drink away from electronics
Do not share Zoom meeting numbers or passwords with strangers.
