School Psychologist/School Psychological Examiner/Early Childhood Special Education Itinerant Evaluator and Teacher:

The Barton, Dade, Jasper County Special Education Cooperative is seeking to employ a School Psychologist/School Psychological Examiner/Early Childhood Special Education Itinerant Evaluator and Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Job duties would include conducting developmental and educational evaluations for young children and providing specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities ages Pre-K-12th grades for the 2026-2027 school year. This position works collaboratively with families, teaches, and multidisciplinary teams to support the developmental and educational needs of children. This position will serve six school districts and will require travel. Speech-Language Pathologist:

Barton, Dade, Jasper County Special Education Cooperative is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year to join our Early Childhood Special Education team. Speech-Language Pathologist must have an understanding of the Early Childhood Special Education process, be able to maintain and implement student instruction/therapy, special education program evaluation and planning, attend parent and district meetings, conduct student assessments, and complete required paperwork. IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring; individualized and small group student instruction; innovative programming; and be a collaborative team member. Educational/Skills: Current Missouri certification through Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and licensed through the Missouri Division of Professional Registration. Have knowledge of language programs; knowledge of therapeutic speech methods; familiar with augmentative and alternative communication programs/devices; competent in the area of technology; good people skills; knowledge of appropriate curriculum for ECSE. The Cooperative office is based in Lockwood. Travel will be required between 7 Cooperative districts with mileage reimbursed. Services will be provided in the ECSE classroom and itinerant locations. Must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the Board of Education.
