The BCSO Training Program is a program created to serve as a substitute for the BCSO Academy. In this program, participants will be trained by an assigned Field Training Officers (FTO) who have enough experience and information within the department. All BCSO Recruits that will pass the program are expected to show competitiveness and great knowledge to their field of work.
The BCSO Training Program should be passed within at least 3 days up to 1 week. Failure to finish the program within the given time might affect the participants’ entry to the department or might affect the FTO’s evaluation.
The titles "Basic Information I & II", "The Law", "Basic Detainment Procedure", "Criminal Apprehension", "Traffic Stops", "Felony Stop", "Crime Management", "Weapons and Weapon Handling", and "Vehicle Operation" are the main courses of the program.
All of the given courses should be highly understood by the program participant and by the FTO.
