Mission

The mission of Back Country Horsemen of South Carolina is to enhance, preserve, and expand access to equestrian trails in our state by partnering with public managers and be of service to them and equestrians in South Carolina.

This South Carolina State Chapter of the Back Country Horsemen of America is dedicated to saving and maintaining our horse trails, and introducing a new generation to the joy of riding those trails.

During our first year, we have been busy forming relationships, assisting in trail clearing, and getting chainsaw certification for our members.
