PBIS

Baconton Community Charter School uses Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to encourage students to use positive behaviors everyday and prevent unwanted behaviors. PBIS is an evidence-based three tiered framework to help all of our students succeed. Outlined below are the BCCS Tier 1 supports used to increase positive behaviors across our campus with all students. Students earn these rewards by demonstrating our BCCS iCARE traits of Capable, Accountable, Respectful, and an Example. The first two weeks of school will be spent learning and practicing these expectations daily. Then, we will have a party to celebrate them and begin the year ready for success. Beginning Monday, August 28, students will be rewarded and recognized throughout the year for demonstrating our iCARE Blazer qualities.
