Internship :
Perspective: "Prior to coming to the BCCC's Biotech program, I felt lost and unsure how to proceed with my BS in Biology. I felt ill equipped to navigate the science world, so I began to pursue teaching and science education. Although I really enjoyed that, I still felt like what I really wanted to pursue was neuroscience research. The BCCC Biotech certification program provided me with the hands on experience and tools necessary to be successful in a research lab. And suddenly, thanks to Dr. Madabushi, I found myself in a Neuroscience research lab at the University of Maryland Baltimore, literally immersed in the field of my dreams, staring right in the face of the career I wanted all along. My next step is to pursue a PhD in Neuroscience. "
