ADVANCED NOTICE: March Monthly Challenge Deadline: 30th March 2026 (Updated for 2025/26)
IT’S CHRISTMAS TIME!
Get ready for a month packed full of festive fun, creativity and Christmas cheer! Here’s the December challenges below:
Anchors: Create the most colourful and artistic Christmas tree drawing they can! Let’s see their festive flair shine bright!
Juniors: Rock their funkiest Christmas jumper! (Embracing Christmas Jumper Day which is 11th December!) This is something that can be created on the night or worn in advance; completely up to you.
Company: Elf Day – 3rd December! Suit up in their best elf costume (BB badge must be visible!) — the more creative, the better (some may decide to make their own on a night, some may use ones already owned)!
Seniors: It’s time for Christmas dinner! Let them show us their most epic feast! We want to see who can fit the most Brussels sprouts or pigs in blankets on one plate! (Do you trust them cooking on a night? They can take this externally)
Let’s finish the year with plenty of laughter, sparkle, and festive spirit!
March is all about celebrating the weird, the wonderful, and the wonderfully creative! This month’s challenges are inspired by a mix of special days and events — with plenty of opportunity for imagination, humour, and effort.
Anchors
World Book Day takes place on 5 March. Your challenge is to dress up as, or draw, your favourite book character or star. Show us who you’ve chosen and how you bring them to life!
Junior Section
Mother’s Day falls on 15 March, and what better way to celebrate than with something handmade? Your task is to create a card for your mum or guardian. Simply take a photo of your card before it’s sent home — we love to see your creativity.
Company Section
Get ready to make us smile! On 27 March, it’s World Wear a Hat Day, an event that raises awareness for Brain Tumour Research. Your challenge is to take the best, silliest, or funniest photo you can while wearing a hat. The more imaginative, the better!
Senior Section
March brings not one, but two pie-themed celebrations — Pi Day (14 March) and Pie Week (2–8 March)!
Your challenge is to combine the two by reciting as many decimal places of Pi as you can… on a pie. Whether that means baking a pie and using pastry to write the numbers, or coming up with a more unconventional approach, the choice is yours. Be creative — we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
We’re looking forward to another month full of fun, creativity, and fantastic entries. Good luck to everyone taking part!
ADVANCED NOTICE: February Monthly Challenge Deadline: 28th February 2026 (Updated for 2025/26)
February’s challenge is inspired by a range of exciting events taking place in the month — Valentine’s Day, the Six Nations Rugby, the Winter Olympics, and, of course, the all-important National Hedgehog Day on 2 February!
Each section has its own creative challenge, designed to encourage imagination, effort, and fun:
Anchors
Create the best hedgehog you can! This can be drawn, built, or crafted using any materials you have in the cupboard. Whether it’s pencil and paper, cardboard, tissue or something more imaginative, this challenge is all about creativity and using your imagination.
Junior Section
The Rugby Six Nations kicks off on 5 February and features seven logos — one for each nation and the main tournament logo. Choose one or more logos and draw, design, or create them in your own style. You don’t need to complete them all — pick your favourites and show us your best work. Again, you can do this in any method you choose.
Company Section
The Winter Olympics take place in Milano Cortina, Italy. Your challenge is to draw, design, make, create, or even act out a sport that features in the Games. How you present this is entirely up to you — the more creative, the better!
Senior Section
Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love — and that doesn’t have to be just romantic love! This can be for a partner, family member, guardian, or if completely stuck… even a leader!
Your challenge is to create flowers — this could be through drawing, crafting, origami, or any other creative approach you choose.
We can’t wait to see the imagination, effort, and creativity you bring to the month’s challenges. Good luck, and enjoy!

Company- you have to play a game of Jenga (3 piece layers), and see what the highest standing tower you have is before it topples, take pictures or record a video as you go! This is counting how many stories your jenga tower goes to, so keep a note and see how you do!
Seniors- now, your challenge is to build a jenga bridge, with as much of a gap between the two standing pieces as possible. Who can get the furthest distance covered and photographed?
