The work on these walls was done three years previous to these pictures. Zoom in to see how degraded these walls were prior to being treated. The alkali can be removed, but the damage to the block can't. Block replacement or repair was deemed too costly in this case. Also, this is a good example of the color difference before and after treating cinder block. The color issue is only with block.
