This meeting will be a combined meeting and Saturday Sew. It will be held at the Middletown Midpointe library in the community room. Meeting will start at 10 and afterwards the group can sew.

Meeting will be a Pig in a Poke, members are encouraged to bring three UFO's (unfinished objects) to the meeting and the guild will vote on which project needs to be finished by the September meeting.

September 12, 2019Make and Take Grommet OrnamentThis is a quick and fun project!Please bring the following supplies with you:Hand sewing needle and red threadSmall straight pinsScissors to cut threadFabric: We will have fabric for each person, but if you would like to bring your own, you will need a 3 1/2" x 27" piece.Optional: If you have a tool such as a wooden iron or seam roller that presses folds into fabric bring that also. Don't go out and buy one if you do not have one! It is optional.

March 8, 2018Seams so Easy Quilt store from Fairfield will be presenting how to use quilting rulers on your domestic machine. We will have machines so you can try out this method.
April 12, 2018Make a Buckeye Blossom mug rug or pot holder. You will assemble the top at the meeting and complete it at home. Bring 2 pinks, 1 yellow, 1 green and a background. May 10, 2018Stitches and Such Quilt store in Glendale will be presenting how to use Quilt Smart. There will be a shopping opportunity for those interested.
June 14, 2018Join us for our annual Picnic and enjoy an evening of games. The picnic is held at Smith Park and the fun begins at 6:00 PM. Bring your own tableware and drink along with a potluck dish to share.
July 12, 2018Quilt of Valor presentation.
August 9, 2018Accidental Landscapes. Linda L. and Sandie P. will lead us in creating an accidental landscape.You will need scraps in blue, purple and green no smaller than 9"x4". Two blues, two purples, and seven greens ranging from dark to light in color. So, raid your scrap bins! (And if you have extra scraps in the colors needed, bring them to share with others if you would like.)You will also need a small rotary cutting mat and a rotary cutter.
September 13, 2018Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the guild with a make and take event. Start looking for a small tin with a lid. Altoids has a small tin if you need to get a new one. Bring some braid/trim the height of the tin. We'll provide most of the other supplies. Looking forward to another fun time.
