We had a lot of enthusiasm and participation in last years challenge so we are going to do something similar in theme for this year. We will have 7 categories in our challenge. They are as follows:
Attend at least 6 BBQG meetings.
Attend one Saturday Sew.
3. Complete the Blocks of the month top by November.
4. Invite someone to the guild that becomes a member.
5. Do a job in the guild. (Bring a snack, take pictures and add to FB, help set up or breakdown a meeting or see, participate in QOV project)
6. Lead a meeting or Saturday Sew.
7. Participate in a fair quilt show.
Participation will be self documented by placing your name on a ticket at a guild meeting when signing in. We are all adults and we do not feel that any one person needs to keep everything documented. We will have tickets and a container at future meetings for this purpose. We will once again be drawing at our Thanksmas party for 2 winners. Each will be presented with a $50 gift certificate to a quilt shop of their choice.
Participate in completing six activities. For each activity you complete you will get one ticket for the grand prize drawing. Only one ticket for each member per activity. Our Vice President Tracy will keep track of each member’s progress. Some you will need to take a before and after photo, others you will bring to show and tell. The drawing will be in December. There will be two winners of $50. Gift certificates.
The activities are:
1. Make a charity quilt. Bring to meeting.
2. Finish a UFO. Bring to meeting.
3. Organize your sewing room or your stash. Take a before and after photo.
4. Lead a guild program or a Saturday Retreat. See Tracy or Cindy to sign up.
5. Do a quilting activity with a guild member you don’t know well. (How to define if you know a person well- if you don’t call them up to chat you don’t know them well.) Talk about this in the meeting after you have completed the outing.
6. Attend six meetings and one Saturday Retreat or more. Sign in at each activity.
