Barbara Bush Middle School Band is a CC UIL Program located in Irving, TX. BBMS is part of Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. Students start band in 6th grade. Instrument choices include: flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, saxophone, French horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, and percussion. Students rehearse in class every day for 50 minutes. After 6th grade, the students audition for a seat in one of our bands. The varsity group is the Symphonic Band, and the Non-Varsity group is the Concert Band.

All bands have several performances throughout the year. Members of the Symphonic and Concert Band will perform at a home football game, pep rally, several concerts and contests around the DFW area. Beginner students will perform at concerts and will attend one contest as well.
