ABOUT FARM ART
The 8th new music album, artwork, and tour by original pop, rock, and country folk singer songwriter Barb Sorensen. Released officially on February 13, 2021. The album has an off the beaten path, fresh original sound, with songs and stories from the farm. The tour includes a travelling art exhibit, farm day labor, and concerts.
Artwork Information:
The Farm Art exhibits include Critter Masks (TM), Bedevilled Eggs (TM), Pressed Flower and Feather Pictures, Engraved Bone decor items, Engraved Crate Wood Ornaments

Music Information:
The Farm Art album includes a selection of songs, stories, images, poems, and videos created by Barb while on the farm. The concerts at 1 hour in length and include a half hour meet'n'greet after the show. All songs are written and performed by Barb Sorensen.
Tour Information:
The Farm Art Concert Tour began online during COVID. In 2023 the first live in-person concert was given at the Dekalb Farm Bureau for their annual celebration gathering of farmers. The tour is in the Midwest until late 2026. Then it will make its way across the US, Canada, EU, AUS and Asia, Stay tuned for schedule updates.
Farm Help Information:
Barb helps out on farms as a "day-worker" for 4-6 hours/day as she tours and finds farms that can use a hand for a day or two. Barb is able to lift 50 lbs., can stack hay stacks, can drive a Honda tractor, clean horse and other animals stalls, catch chickens, help with hog herding, inventory the farm store, feed critters, assist with website design and setup for small farms, wash equipment down, fix broken fences, and rehang missing boards on barns, gather eggs. Local music happening in a culture of community generosity.
The ultimate grassroots community music festival where all genres of musicians perform on porches and lawns within the boundaries of the event.
Each porch is scheduled for 1 hour, and musicians play for about 45 minutes. The audience picks their choices from teh schedule and moves from location to location. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket, munchies and soda pop/water

Local music happening in a culture of community generosity.
PorchFest is an evening of free acoustical music held at free venues throughout Kingfield on a single evening. PorchFest is a chance for neighbors to walk
the dog, stroll the baby, or pack a cool beverage and meander with their honey from home to home enjoying the beauty and talent of our amazing neighborhood, all for free!
In 2015, it’s inaugural year, the Kingfield PorchFest brought 40 local, free, performing musical groups to 25 stages (a.k.a. people’s front porches!) in just one evening. How the event has grown – in 2024 we had out 10 year anniversary doubled those initial numbers – over 50 stages and 80 performers!
