Brief

If Limar is known for one thing, it’s for creating the world’s lightest road racing helmets. The helmet is every cyclist’s most critical piece of equipment but a heavy and poorly ventilated helmet can have negative effects on a Pro level riders performance. As head protection has increased to include greater coverage and integration of rotational energy dispersing features like MIPS, helmets have had an increase in weight and a decrease in ventilation.

Limar intends to reclaim the crown of the World’s Lightest helmet with a cost is no object approach. We will use Formula 1 level design & material research to create a helmet that exceeds global safety standards, integrates rotational energy management, has measurable improvements in cooling power and virtually disappears on the heads of the World’s fastest road racing cyclists by virtue of its remarkable low weight.
