Judges
First Round:
School level judging. Professors will select top 50% of designs for Round 2.
Second Round:
Judging panel will be: Autodesk, Limar and professors recommended by professors who are teaching the classes.
Judging Criteria:
Innovation: does the design stand out, provide something new to the market or supplement/improve an existing product or service?
Aesthetics: Artistic value of the form, shape, color, texture, finishing, engineering, material used, etc.
Functionality & Ergonomics: Ease of use, safety, maintenance, and the overall interaction with the user.
Durability: The quality and longevity of the design.
Reality of production: How realistic is it, technically and economically, to bring this design to production and broad-scale use.
Presentation: How well was the product presented, was the format clear and concise, and did it leave any unanswered questions.
