이곳은 폐리조트 '하늘정원'입니다. 

수학여행 성지로 유명했던 설악동에는 더 이상 사용되지 않는 건물들이 많이 있습니다. 

그 중 여기 '하늘정원'에서는 2023년부터 전시 프로젝트가 진행되고 있습니다. 

다양한 장르의 작가들이 버려진 건물의 구석구석을 살펴보고, 이 공간에서만 이루어질 수 있는 작업을 선보입니다. 

올해 2026년에는 '적대시적대화'라는 기획 프로젝트의 일환으로, 총 23명의 창작자가 참여합니다. 

'적대시적대화'는 적대를 대하는 두 가지의 갈래를 말합니다. 

적대시, 적대화 또는 적대, 시적대화.

일상에 만연한 적대에 우리는 적대로 응대해야할지, 시적대화로 응대해야할지 고민합니다. 

창작을 통한 시적대화의 방법으로 세 가지의 방법을 제시해봅니다.

부딪히기 - 게릴라, 트램폴린 - 높이 뛰기, 섞이기 - 스무디. 

이곳 설악동에서는 적대에 응대하는 시적대화의 한 방법으로, 트램폴린, 높이 뛰는 방법을 함께 탐구합니다. 

버려진 공간의 구석구석을 살펴보며, 작품과 함께 멀-리, 높-이 뛰어보세요. 

낡음, 지나감, 버려짐이 그저 두렵거나 무섭지만은 않답니다.

This is 'Sky Garden', an abandoned resort reclaimed by art. 

Seorak-dong was once the famous destination for school field trips, but it now stands as a landscape of abandoned architecture. Since 2023, this very site has been transformed into a sprawling canvas. Artists from diverse genres and medias have ventured into the forgotten corners of this building to present works that could only exist within here, this specific sites.

For 2026, we introduce [Poetic Conversation with Hostility], a project featuring 23 creators. The title reflects two diverging paths in confronting hostility: the cycle of Hostilization or the alternative of Poetic Conversation. In an era where hostility is pervasive, we find ourselves at a crossroads—should we respond in kind, or through the lens of poetic engagement?

We propose three artistic methodologies for this poetic dialogue:

• Clashing - Guerrilla 

• Jump above - Trampoline 

• Blended/Combined - Smoothie 

Here in Seorak-dong, we focus on the 'Trampoline'—the method of jumping high. As you explore every nook and cranny of this abandoned space, we invite you to leap high and far alongside the artworks. You will find that the worn, the passed, and the abandoned are not merely haunting or fearsome; they hold a beauty that transcends the passage of time.

본 전시 공간은 옆 숙소 '더레드하우스'와 협력하여 운영되고 있습니다.

공간은 13:00-20:00(최대 21:00) 사이 열려있으며, 당일 상황에 따라 유동적으로 운영됩니다.
