in 2020, the EPSRC kindly funded the creation of a new facility for looking at performing cryogenic analytical imaging by combining atom probe tomography and transmission electron microscopy. The facility mimics the Laplace infrastructure, but takes it to the next level, with the link to the TEM and other possible infrastructure (SIMS, XPS etc.)
The LEAP 5000 XR has been commissioned and the TFS Hydra as well, and the rest of the facility is being put together.
