Welcome

This site will gather some bits and bobs about the group and the activity of the group(s), the ERC-SHINE project, the Laplace Project @ MPIE and the CRYO-EPS facility @ Imperial. 

Over Jan 2016 to September 2025, I led the atom probe activity at the Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH in Düsseldorf. 

from Oct 2018 to September 2025, I was also a Professor of Atomic-Scale Characterization at the Department of Materials at Imperial College London.

In October 2025, I started to transition back to Rouen, as a CNRS Research Director – at the Groupe de Physique des Matériaux – while progressively handing over my duties at MPIE. 

On my spare time, I also edit a brand new journal in materials science, Acta Adamantum, that is diamond open access, after 8 years of editing Materialia.
