It is important to apply for housing as soon as possible. University housing is NOT guaranteed. We encourage students to use university housing but it is not required.
It is your responsibility to book your own housing. You must wait to apply for university housing until you get an offer from your host university. Space can be limited and fill up quickly.
Visit http://www.bath.ac.uk/services/register-and-apply-for-student-accommodation/ for information regarding Bath housing registration.
If you have questions regarding housing, it is best to contact your housing provider directly. The Gies Study Abroad office has no authority over host university policy and procedure. If it is a situation where you are not getting a response, please let us know.
Prior to arrival to campus, check with your housing provider to inquire about the earliest move-in date. If you plan to arrive early and are using university housing, you may be required to pay an extra fee for early move-in or may need to find other accommodations. Make sure to check the time that the housing office will be open for check-in.
Regardless of what housing you choose, be sure to arrange it before arriving on campus.
