The community is invited to join the Batesville Music Boosters, Batesville Middle School and Batesville High School music department staff, and the student musicians of BMS and BHS for an evening of music, refreshments, and recognizing the achievements of students in the Middle School and High School bands, choirs, and color guard.
Doors open before the event and refreshments, a special photo area, and live music will be available prior to the awards ceremony which will begin at 6:00 pm.
Tickets can be purchased at the door. BMS and BHS students are free.
The parents, family, and friends of Batesville Middle School and Batesville High School student musicians as well as the entire community are invited to the first annual Batesville Bravo Awards Ceremony to celebrate the achievements and commitment of the music students in grades 6-12 within the Batesville Community School Corporation. This event will also recognize volunteers who support the music programs through their dedication to events, performances, and help behind the scenes.
Over 40 awards will be presented during the ceremony. Awards will range from recognizing the positive attitudes and enthusiasm of middle school musicians to the prestigious national band, choir, and color guard awards given to an outstanding high school music student. Students will be nominated by their peers and directors for these awards and the winners will be revealed at the event.
The Batesville Bravo Awards Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Batesville High School. A reception with light refreshments will be held prior to the event, along with a special photo area, and live music. The awards ceremony will begin at 6pm in the auditorium.
Tickets for the event will be available at the door. All BMS and BHS student musicians are free.
