Welcome parents and guardians -- as well as grandparents, favorite aunts & uncles, and community members! You are all critical in the success of our Batesville music programs!

Over the course of the year, you will be invited to support our music programs as part of Batesville Music Boosters (BMB). Batesville Music Boosters is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of supportive parent and community volunteers, focused on ensuring the success of our student musicians and music programs through the expertise of our volunteers and our financial support.

Here are a few of the ways BMB has traditionally supported our programs:

Some of the goals we have for the future of BMB:

BATESVILLE MUSIC BOOSTERS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Angela Linville

PresidentAngela Linvilleangelalinville919@gmail.com812-212-5110
A native of Ripley County, Angela fell in love with music class in 3rd grade. Despite the limited options for music education in a small rural school), choir and performance were an important part of her high school experience.
While a student at Purdue, Angela began working for a national Visa/Mastercard provider. This led to her spending the next twenty years with a career in the credit card industry, holding a variety of executive-level positions in servicing, marketing, and strategy. Today, she is the Community Development Director for the City of Batesville.
Angela is married to John who has worked at Batesville (casket) for 30+ years.  Their three youngest children are all Bulldogs. Alyssa and Olivia graduated in 2022 and 2024 respectively and were both four-year members of Singers. Cooper will graduate in 2026 and is focused on adding awards to the BHS varsity golf team trophy case.
She has served in leadership and/or board positions for a number of non-profits, including the YMCA, Big Brother Big Sisters, the United Way, and the Margaret Mary Community Foundation.
Of all these efforts, she is most committed to her support of Batesville Music Boosters. She’s passionate about expanding music education opportunities and experiences for our students, ensuring that a BCSC music education is “best in class” throughout the state.  Additionally, she strives to ensure that any student can pursue band, choir, or another music program without concern for family financial limitations.

Jason Champion

Vice PresidentJason Championjec.champio@gmail.com 931-801-2831
Jason grew up in western Kentucky in the small town of Leadbetter and graduated from Reidland high school. Jason was in Band from 6th grade through his freshman year and played the saxophone and bass guitar. He grew up on the waters in western Kentucky fishing and hunting as often as he could get into the woods.
Jason married his soulmate in 1999 and has three wonderful children who have all enjoyed music in three different ways. Jason and his family moved to Batesville in January of 2019 and they have all enjoyed their time here in Batesville. Cody was in Band throughout his graduation in May of 2023 and played the French horn and Mellophone. Jacey was in band for one year but has enjoyed choir since coming to Batesville.
Music is important to Jason. He has enjoyed music throughout his life and the music education he received is something he can enjoy all through his life. Jason has served on the music boosters board since 2019 by serving as treasurer and now as vice president. My desire for the music programs at Batesville is to allow all students who have a desire to learn about music to have the ability to do so. Music is something that we can enjoy and participate in for our whole lives.
Jason Champion is the Education Director for the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute (AWCI) a non-profit located in Harrison Ohio. Jason previously served as the program chair for the School of Watchmaking at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology. He holds an AAS degree from OSUIT in Watchmaking including WOSTEP and CW21 certifications, a BS in Occupational Education, and an MS from OSU Stillwater in Teaching, Learning and Leadership.
Jason has instructed individuals from all over the world in horological classes working on luxury timepieces. His work experience includes university instruction and instruction nationally through AWCI on their state-of-the-art Archie Perkins Mobile Horology Classroom. He worked in New York City for Luxury watch brands including Panerai, Cartier, Piaget and Baume and Mercier with Richemont North American. Jason had a private business working on high-end luxury watches prior to instruction. These experiences aid in teaching students how to repair watches and develop customer relations skills.
