This standard has the student take responsibility for their learning at their pace while also reflecting on their form. Students also engage in cooperative learning groups and have been told to positively critique students to enhance social-emotional learning skills which will ultimately help motivation.

Students work together on a day-to-day basis, check for understanding questions throughout demonstrations, closure, and exit slips which all go hand in hand with standard 4n.
