The Kiwanis Club of Basehor-Linwood brings together people who care about our community and want to give kids a stronger start.
What We Do
We’re local people helping local kids.
Recognize Terrific Kids (educational and emotional growth) in local schools
Give away free bicycle helmets and books
Support school programs (Basehor MENTORS)
Partner with schools, the city (e.g., Basehor's Blooming), and local orgs (e.g., BLAS: Adopt-a-Family)
Donate to child-based causes (Joy Meadows, VEX Robotics, and more)
Who Can Join?
You don't need experience, just heart and a desire to help.
Whether you're a retiree, teacher, parent, or young professional, you can make a real difference. We meet once a month and keep things fun, flexible, and family-friendly.
