Work Experience

Welcome to Barnaby's Bunny Barn - where animal care meets passion, learning, and a whole lot of fluff!

We're proud to support the next generation of animal lovers and carers through hands-on work placements and experience opportunities. In 2026 we are pleased to be supporting:

• Veterinary students on a week's placement looking to gain practical insights into small animal boarding

• Year 10 students completing a week's volunteering to fulfill their School work experience week

• Animal Care Students at Weston College, Cannington or City of Bristol College

• Duke of Edinburgh Award students completing their skills section of the qualification

• Year 12 students looking to provide evidence of animal work experience to enhance their personal statement applying to veterinary school

At the Bunny Barn, you'll be part of a warm, friendly environment where you’ll:

• Learn about daily animal care, welfare, and enrichment

• Develop confidence working with small animals

• Build transferable skills such as responsibility, teamwork, and problem-solving
