Terms and Conditions
All customers hereby agree to the terms and conditions set out by Barnaby's Bunny Barn upon the completion of the booking form.
Vaccinations:
We request that all rabbits are vaccinated against
Myxomatosis
Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease 1 (RHD-1)
Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease 2 (RHD-2)
In the UK, a combined vaccination is available against all three diseases.
Please also email a copy or photo of the certificate when booking.
There are currently no vaccination requirements needed for guinea pigs or tortoises.
Vets:
We do request the name and address of your vet in case of an emergency and we need to contact them.
If we are unable to reach them, your pet will be taken to our own vet and we will provide them with your name and address; any charges that may occur will be passed on to you.
Barnaby's Bunny Barn requests that you bring your own carrier for transport in case of an emergency visit to the vets.
Vet visits will be charged at £10 per hour plus 45p per mile petrol expenses. A premium rate will be charged for out of hours visits (between 7pm and 7am, weekends and bank holidays.
If your vet is outside of a 5 mile radius of BS20 8LL, we reserve the right to use our own local vet in Portishead who offers a 24 hour service.
Health:
It is essential that you let us know of any dietary requirements, behavioural or medical conditions your pet may suffer from. We do not accept high risk animals or those on permanent medication.
If your pet shows any sign of disease or illness upon arrival, that was not previously mentioned, then Barnaby's Bunny Barn will not accept your pet.
Barnaby's Bunny Barn pledges to care for your pet with every love and care as if it were our own, however we cannot be held responsible if your pet becomes unwell, pregnant, is injured or sadly passes away whilst in our care or on our premises. All pets are left at owner's risk. In the event that any of these situations occur, we will make all attempts to contact you within a reasonable time to discuss the situation.
Your pet will not share space with any other animal in our care unless they are a bonded pair or group and are normally living together. If bonded pets need to be separated for any reason then you will be charged for two individual animals at full price for each as they will require more space and extra maintenance.
Abandoned pets:
If your pet is not collected within ten days of the agreed collection date and you have not contacted us to inform us of the change, we will first make every reasonable attempt to contact you or your family/ neighbours to establish the reason. As a last resort, if we are unable to get in contact with you, then we hold the right to re-home your pet.
Opening hours:
We are open 7am till 7pm, 6 days per week. We do ask that you make an appointment for visits. This can be done using the app:

Deposit and payment:
A deposit of 50% may be requested once the booking has been successful. We usually only request this for long stay bookings in peak season. It is non-refundable (unless we can resell the space) but will be deducted from the final bill.
All bookings must be paid in full on the arrival date at the start of their holiday.
Charges for boarding will include delivery and collection days. If any additional fees occur, these must be paid in full on collection, before picking up your pet.
We ask for a minimum spend of £30 for the large rabbit enclosures.
Bank Holidays may incur an additional charge during the busy holiday seasons
Home Service:
If you have opted for home services (rather than using the boarding facility) then payment must be made in advance or left available for collection at the start of the pets holiday.
Cancellation:
Refunds are only given if you give us 72 hours notice and we are able to resell the space.
BOOKINGS WILL ONLY BE SECURE ONCE A COMPLETED BOOKING FORM HAS BEEN RECEIVED AND I HAVE EMAILED A CONFIRMATION LETTER BACK TO YOU ABOUT YOUR DETAILS. DO NOT ASSUME YOUR BOOKING IS COMPLETE WITHOUT A CONFIRMATION LETTER, AS BARNABYS BUNNY BARN WILL NOT ACCEPT YOUR PET.
We accept payment by cash or bank transfer.
