Welcome, Barkleyans!

Barkley Neighborhood Association is a new (relaunched) city-recognized neighborhood association of Bellingham. 

Its purpose is to help facilitate greater connection among residents of the Barkley Neighborhood, with one another and with those in adjacent neighborhoods, by organizing activities and programs that expand opportunities for positive social interaction, community improvement, and mutual aid, and help us build stronger collective influence with regards to larger city issues that affect the neighborhood's development and residents' wellbeing.

• • Membership & board eligibility are open to residents (owners and renters) within the area of the Barkley Neighborhood, in green on the map

  • General membership is also open to residents of adjoining Urban Growth Areas (i.e. Northern Heights, Tweed Twenty)
