About Us

Over the years the Christmas Walk has been organized by multiple groups and has even changed names. 

We felt it was time to create an official Barberton Christmas Walk non-profit group to ensure that the Walk will continue for many years to come. Unfortunately, creating a 501(c)3 takes time and money. We have begun the process, but it will not be finalized until late 2023/ early2024.  For the time being, we will be operating under the South Summit Chamber of Commerce.  

The BCW (Barberton Christmas Walk) Committee is made of several individuals who have a history in Downtown Barberton and with the Christmas Walk.

The owners of Barberton Local Tees and Sylvart Studios have teamed up to Lead the Committee and begin the process of making the Barberton Christmas Walk it's own non-profit organization. But, they are receiving a LOT of help from other downtown businesses and volunteers!

This is a joint effort, and while we want to make the Barberton Christmas Walk a huge event, we need to walk before we can run.
