I got my Master's Degree in Mathematics at the University of Genova, where I am from, under the supervision of Dr.rer. nat. Alessio Caminata in July 2022. I moved in Leipzig in October 2022 to start my Ph.D. at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences in the Nonlinear Algebra Group led by Prof. Bernd Sturmfels.
I am fascinated by mathematics and the challenges it presents. I am mostly interested in commutative algebra, algebraic geometry and probably a lot of other topics that I have yet to discover! Besides maths, I love every kind of sports. I practise kickboxing, tennis and athletics and I go skiing every time I have the possibility. I also enjoy music, I studied piano and classical music for a few years.
