This activity is partially supported by the University of Waterloo Faculty of Mathematics, the Department of Pure Mathematics, and the National Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada.
Overview:
This conference is one in a long series of international meetings that take place every second year, since the seminal conference in 1974 at the University of California, Los Angeles. The aim of this conference is to bring together mathematicians, experts and young, that show up-to-date contributions in Banach Algebra theory and its connections to related areas including Operator Algebras, Operator Spaces, Operator Theory, Harmonic Analysis, Quantum Groups, and Geometry of Banach Spaces. The most recent meeting was held in Granada, Spain, in 2022.
As part of the program, there will be several plenary lectures given by leading experts, opportunities for short contributed lectures, and ample time for informal discussions and collaborations.
