Welcome to BankWiser Pro! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the BankWiser Pro mobile application (the "Service"), provided by BankWiser Pro ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

BankWiser Pro is an educational mobile application designed to provide study materials for banking professionals preparing for internal promotion exams. Content includes notes, frequently asked questions (FAQs), multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and audio summaries.

2. User Accounts

• To access the full features of the Service, you must register for an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account and for all activities that occur under your account.

• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep this information up-to-date.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

• Free Content: The Service offers a selection of initial content free of charge ("Free Launch Content"), specifically content tagged for the first five months of a given year (e.g., January to May).

• Premium Subscription: Access to all content, including and beyond the Free Launch Content, requires a paid subscription ("BankWiser Pro Subscription"). Subscriptions are offered on a yearly basis.

• Billing: Subscriptions are managed and billed through the Google Play Billing system. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the Google Play terms of service for payments and subscriptions.

• Auto-Renewal: Your yearly subscription will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel it through your Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

• Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellation and refund requests are subject to the policies of the Google Play Store. We do not issue direct refunds.

• Whitelisted Access: We reserve the right to grant full premium access to certain users ("Whitelisted Users") at our sole discretion, without a paid subscription. This access is non-transferable and may be revoked at any time.

4. Content Delivery and Updates

• The Service delivers content, including updates, via Google Play Asset Delivery (PAD). An active internet connection is required to check for and download content updates.

• Initial content is bundled with the application or delivered on first use. You may be prompted to download new content packs as they become available. We are not responsible for any data charges you may incur from your mobile carrier for downloading content.

5. User-Generated Data and Preferences

• Bookmarks: The Service allows you to bookmark content. This bookmark data is linked to your user account and synced across your devices using cloud services (Firebase Firestore) to ensure persistence.

• Theme Preferences: Your preferred theme (Light/Dark) is stored locally on your device and may be lost upon reinstallation.

6. Intellectual Property

• All content provided through the Service, including text, graphics, audio, logos, and software, is the property of BankWiser Pro or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

• License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service and its content for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes, subject to your active subscription status.

• Restrictions: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or publicly perform any of the content without our express prior written consent.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the source code or underlying structure of the Service.

• Attempt to circumvent any content protection or access control measures, including attempting to access premium content without a valid subscription.

• Use any automated system, including "bots" or "spiders," to access the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the content for your specific examination needs. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BankWiser Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms within the Service or by other means. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
