BankWiser Pro ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you when you use our mobile application, BankWiser Pro (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us:

• Account Information: When you register using Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, or Google Identity Services (including One Tap sign-in), we receive basic profile information from Google such as your name, email address, and a unique Google User ID (UID). We use this to create and manage your BankWiser Pro account.

Information We Collect Automatically:

• Usage Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics and Meta SDK to collect anonymous or aggregated information about app usage, features accessed, session duration, and engagement events. This data does not personally identify you.

• Crash Information: Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports, including device type, OS version, and app state at the time of a crash. No personal account information is included; a non-identifiable installation UUID may be used.

• Device Information & App Integrity: Firebase App Check, Google Play Integrity API, and device logs may collect device identifiers, app version, and integrity signals to ensure secure and genuine app usage.

• Push Notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging may collect device tokens to deliver notifications and monitor delivery metrics.

• Remote Configuration: Firebase Remote Config may collect device identifiers and instance IDs to deliver app configuration updates without requiring app updates.

User Content Data:

• Bookmarks: We store your bookmarked content in Firebase Firestore. This data is linked to your user account and synced across devices. Firestore security rules ensure only you can access your data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.

• Create and manage your user account.

• Process subscriptions and purchases via Google Play Billing.

• Synchronize bookmarks across devices.

• Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve user experience.

• Diagnose and fix technical issues and crashes.

• Communicate account or service updates.

• Ensure app security and integrity using App Check and Play Integrity API.

• Send relevant notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share information in these limited cases:

• With Service Providers: Google, Firebase, and Meta SDK may process your data on our behalf for authentication, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, billing, and app configuration. These providers are obligated not to use your data for other purposes.

• For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information as required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect rights, property, or safety.

4. Data Security

• Local Database Encryption: Content stored on your device is encrypted with SQLCipher.

• Downloaded Content Encryption: Audio files are encrypted using AES via Android Keystore.

• Data Transmission: Data between your device and our services uses HTTPS.

• Firestore Security: Your bookmark data is protected via Firebase Firestore security rules.

• SDK Security Compliance: Firebase, Google Play services, and Meta SDKs are configured to follow industry-standard security practices.

5. Data Retention

We retain account information, bookmarks, and purchase data as long as your account is active. Deleting your account removes this information from our active systems, though some data may be retained for legal or business purposes, such as dispute resolution or regulatory compliance.

6. Your Choices

• Account Information: Manage your Google account via Google settings.

• Analytics & Ads: You may reset your device advertising ID or limit ad tracking.

• Push Notifications: Manage notifications via device settings.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If discovered, such data will be deleted.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will notify users by posting the new policy in the Service. Review periodically for updates.
