It may be an American tradition but let it never be said that India doesn’t know how to assimilate the best and make it our own. This year is like no other. We are hopefully seeing the tail-end of a pandemic, although it is still a long road ahead, and we have much to be thankful for.
Friends and family who are still with us; the kindness of strangers when we needed them the most who showered us with medicine, food and emotional aid; rediscovering small pleasures, and appreciating every day for whatever joy it brings.
Keeping the spirit of all that in mind, the YWCA, Infantry Road is holding a “social distance Bake Sale”, (and who thought we would one day all know what that phrase meant), from November 20 to November 28, 2021. Whether you, or someone you know, is an expert at making cordials, cakes and cookies or biryani, bread and baklava, or jams, jellies and jerky, well, you get our drift, please call the numbers below and let’s start our mutual appreciation journey. There’s nothing better than gifting delicious little morsels to show someone you’re thankful they are there. And if you’re buying for yourself, all the better because you deserve it simply for getting through the past few years.
This is for delivery in Bangalore (India) only. We won’t be selling alcohol or beef. Part of the sale proceeds will go for our charity work.
