Bandoneon Midi View is a free program for Windows 10 that allows you to explore how notes are arranged on bandoneon keyboards.
Originally designed as a tool for composers, the program helps explore the complex key layout of the bandoneon.
The interactive design of the program makes it easy to experiment with chords and melodies while seeing directly which buttons correspond to notes on the bandoneon.
The application supports MIDI input, allowing you to connect a physical piano keyboard. As you play notes or chords, you can instantly view the corresponding notes on the different bandoneon keyboards: left/right-open and left/right-closed.
It provides a clear view of overlapping notes, non-existent notes, and double notes on the bandoneon. This makes it also helpful for beginner bandoneonists to locate notes on the keyboard.
With the built-in MIDI player, you can even play MIDI files and immediately see which buttons can be played on the bandoneon.
Bandoneon Midi View is currently in its first version and still in the testing phase. The software is free to use. If you encounter any bugs, errors, or have feature requests, feel free to reach out via email.
I wish you an inspiring experience with Bandoneon Midi View.
