14 - 18 December 2026
The International Conference on Banach Algebras and Applications 2026 will take place from 14 to 18 December 2026 at Stellenbosch University, South Africa.
This conference continues a long-standing international tradition devoted to Banach algebras and related areas of functional analysis, and marks the first time that this meeting will be held on the African continent. The event will bring together leading experts, early career academics, and students to showcase recent advances across Banach algebra theory, including homological methods, automatic continuity, amenability, spectral theory, and interactions with operator theory, operator algebras, harmonic analysis, and non-commutative geometry.
