Weapon

The best weapon for this fight is the Apophis Sword "Shine". Since the Evo only has medium length, a length up sigil will be very helpful.

You should have enough time to take the Affinity Drink and the SW potion in the Arena and still get the PD from his first nuke.

Moveset Guide

Hexaflash

Zeru is the only Musou where you definitely want to use the Hexaflash. To maximise your damage use it as late as possible ideally right before his 10% nuke. If you can skip the nuke that way it'll be a huge time safe but just getting the ko is already really good.

Trackshot Combo

After the Chinslam you have to be careful to use upslash -> Beamslash. If you are to close to the legs and hit the full combo you will get hit by the trackshot. If you want to play it safe you will either have to intentionally miss some hits or instead of beamslash continue the triangle combo for one more hit.

Lasers

Easiest way to to get the timing is to use an upslash out of neutral to have the biggest timing window for evade slash. Be sure to position correctly and delay the beamslash slightly so you hit everything on the head.

Wind

After evading the Wind turn sideways and evade through the dash again Ideally getting Hitlag. The timing isn't easy but you'll get the hang of it.
