Visiting Ph.D. student Patricia Prieto arrived in East Lansing. She's a student at Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina in Lima, Peru and will be working on characterizing Mn-functionalized sorbents.

Visiting Ph.D. student Diego Suarez arrived in East Lansing. He's a student at Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina in Lima, Peru and will be working on Fe nanoparticle characterization over the coming months.

Congratulations to Majed Alam Abir on his paper studying the role of gadolinium promoters on Ni-catalyzed methanation being published in ACS Catalysis! This work involved 5 different undergraduate researchers helping with all the experiments!
Majed, Mihir, and Maddie presented at the AIChE Annual Meeting in Boston, MA!
Maddie attended the fall ACS meeting in Washington DC to present at two symposia - one celebrating E. V. Murphree Award winner Chris Jones and one focused on 'Frontiers and Challenges in Nanoparticle-Mediated Chemical Transformations'. She was awarded the Materials and Interfaces Outstanding Presentation by a Young Investigator!
Undergraduate researchers Yesi Doctolero and Aspen Tapley join the group - welcome!
Mihir presented at the North American Catalysis Society meeting in Atlanta, GA and received the Kokes Award! Maddie also presented at the meeting.
