This tour we will pass through the Bedugul area is one of Bali's most refreshing and scenic highland gives it a fresh, misty and temperate atmosphere. Located in North Bali and is loved for its cool climate, lakes, gardens and temple. We also drive to Penebel village an area of agricultural landscape, much of the area is under farming.The famous rice fields of Jatiluwih (which lie within Penebe) are part of the UNESCO World Heritage listing (for the Subak irrigation system).

What to expect

1. Ulun Danu Bratan Temple

The drive will go to the temple called Ulun Danu Bratan. The driving will be around 2 hours from the main tourist area. It is a temple floating on the famous lake of Bratan. It is a vary important temple to worship the Balinese Goddes called Dewi Danu, due to the importance of lake Bratan as a main source irrigation in central Bali.

2. Jatiluwih Rice Terrace

Next, we drive around 40 to 60 minutes to stop at the widest rice terraces in Bali called Jatiluwih which has been acknowledged fro UNESCO as part of the world's cultural heritage in maintaining the local culture of irrigation system called Subak.

3. Batukaru Temple 

Drive along the green hills around 30 to 45 minutes to reach Batukaru temple just on the foothill of Mount Batukaru as the second highest mountain in Bali. This was built in 11th century and was dedicated to the ancestors of Rajas of Tabanan. Enjoy the area of temple with a peaceful sound of nature and far out of tourist place.

4. Taman Ayun Temple

Next, driving around 1 hour from previous location to see Taman Ayun Temple. This is a place to worship the ancestors of the Royal Family of Menguwi Kingdom, this temple has a oustanding scenery surrouded a big river.
