On this tour we will pass through Abang area in Karangasem. It lies toward the eastern part of Bali. The lush landscape, varying elevation, hills, and coastal-adjacent areas give it a unique character, less-touristic feel compered to the south of the island. This area become specia because the famous Pura Penataran Agung Lempuyang (part of the Lempuyang temple complex).This is a major temple complex, very scenic, with gateways that offer one of Bali’s most iconic photo views (the so-called Gate of Heaven). The temple sits up on the slopes in the Abang district. Although sometimes listed in the larger region, Tirta Gangga is near Abang and is a famous water garden/royal palace with pools, fountains, lush gardens.

What to expect
Lempuyang Temple
We drive around 2 hours from the hotel you are staying to the east of Bali to get Get of heaven. Lempuyang Temple is one of Bali’s oldest and most sacred Hindu temples, and it’s famous for its stunning “Gates of Heaven” view of Mount Agung.Lempuyang Temple is one of the Sad Kahyangan Jagad the six holiest places of worship in Bali, believed to provide spiritual balance to the island.
Tirta Gangga Water Palace
We drive about 30 minutes from the previous location to water palace. Tirta Gangga is one of Bali’s most beautiful and iconic water palaces a tranquil blend of Balinese Hindu symbolism, royal architecture, and natural beauty. Tirta Gangga covers about 1.2 hectares and is set amid lush hills and rice terraces.
It’s a harmonious combination of Balinese and Chinese architecture, centered around pools, fountains, gardens, and sculptures.
Tukad Cepung Waterfall
The last destination is Tukad Cepung Waterfall driving around 1 hour 45 minutes from previous location. Tukad Cepung Waterfall is one of Bali’s most magical and photogenic waterfall it is famous for the sunlight beams that pierce through the canyon and illuminate the waterfall like a natural cathedral of light. Unlike most waterfalls that are open and surrounded by jungle, Tukad Cepung is hidden inside a canyon — creating a mystical, enclosed atmosphere.
