For Children's Behavior Health
The Ballmer Institute is transforming the mental health landscape for children and adolescents by creating a new undergraduate-level profession—child behavioral health specialists—who provide direct support in schools, healthcare settings, and communities. In response to the national youth mental health crisis, the Institute combines research, hands-on training, and community partnership to increase access to high-quality, equitable care. Through innovative academic programs, workforce development, and evidence-based interventions, the Ballmer Institute is building the nation’s most comprehensive approach to improving child behavioral health.
Dr. Sunny Bai joined the Ballmer Institute in the fall of 2023 as an Assistant Professor.
