In most cases, parents will create the group, normally of 4-6 students, prior to signing up for Backyard Buddies. However, if multiple parents reach out to us with individual children, we may be able to create groups as well.

It is completely up to you which house you would like to use! You can decide on one house and stick with it or you can alternate from week to week for a change of scenery for the kids.

Each Buddy has a college degree from an esteemed university, work experience and/or a higher level education, and experience working as either a tutor, mentor, or camp counselor.

Cost is dependent upon amount of students in each group as well as hours desired. Please reach out to us for a quote!

Please use the Payment Portal for all payments to Backyard Buddies. Here, you can choose to use Paypal, Debit, or Credit. Cash will not be accepted by Buddies.

A standard day consists of four hours, which can be flexibly scheduled throughout the day. Additional hours can be added based on the Buddy's availability.

This is completely up to you! The first available week begins Tuesday, September 8th.

If a student, or Buddy, who does not live in the house being used needs to use the restroom, they will be required to wear a mask and gloves when entering the house and using the bathroom.

This will depend on the comfort level of the group and can be discussed individually. Some options may include using the house's garage with the garage door open or staying under a porch covering. If you would like to cancel due to weather we would just ask for notice.
