Backschool Bugs is a gallery website made by highschool student Tofu Leaf to showcase the diversity of bugs through macro photography. It also serves as a personal journal to document and organize the bugs they found around their home. The name for this website was suggested by a few close friends, but ultimately this name was chosen to reflect on the first bug they had ever researched (for the sake of keeping it alive) from their school. They also like history and art.

I love to believe that my interest in bugs runs deep even before I encounter my first bug at school - that probably was what kickstarted this entire series, from Instagram stories to highlights, to creating a bug account, and to a full website dedicated to the bugs.

I wanted to say thanks to my friends and followers for continuously hyping me up with my bug series on Instagram. Yall are the best.

I don't have a very remarkable or epic cause to do all this other than to share my enthusiasm in entomology. So I hope this in some way, allows you to be excited about bugs as I do :)
